Common Beech Trees (Fagus sylvatica) are magnificent broadleaved trees with smooth, silvery bark. They're deciduous and grow up to about 35m tall. They're one of my favourite trees to photograph, with their great autumn colours and large spreading shape, large limbs with beautiful leaves. Occasionally you see large, bare root systems clasping onto the earth. Majestic.
‘I think you have taken the most amazingly beautiful photographs of trees. I am a garden designer, artist
and photographer and know what I am looking at - and they blew me away. Brilliant’. S.D, Charente, France
'Hi Tony, Thanks so much for our canvas print of your Beech Trees photo. We are really pleased with it. It is such a beautiful photo and looks great in our living room. It arrived safely and on time. Also, it was good to have the hanging instructions and everything required to hang it included. Best wishes, N and R, Cheshire'(bought a large canvas print of this image)
'Dear Tony, Thank you so so much for an amazing picture of freezing hill trees, framed beautifully and just what I envisaged. This was a gift to a dear friend who has run past these trees frequently and they are her favourite place, she is moving to France so this was the perfect gift for her to be able to continue to view the trees. Thank you for your efficient service and safe packaging (lots of bubble wrap!!) Kind regards G.A, Bath' (bought a framed print of this image)
